Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) and the visiting Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC), saw Northwest Cabarrus's basketball squad knock off Salisbury by a tally of 25-11.

With the victory, Northwest Cabarrus improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to play the Falcons in a challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. West Rowan lost 25-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

Next up, the Hornets play the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Salisbury will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
