Westview Knights (Avondale, AZ) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Central Bobcats (Phoenix, AZ), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights face the Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) in a 5A Desert West challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Westview will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Vipers enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 2-1 league win over Canyon View (Waddell, AZ).

The Bobcats now have a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Canyon for a 5A Metro challenge on Thursday, January 11. Central will face a Rattlers team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ). The Rattlers record now stands at 2-4.
