The East Rowan Mustangs basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting A.L. Brown Wonders to 51 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Concord for a contest on Tuesday, January 16. East Rowan will meet a Spiders team coming off a 34-29 non-league win over Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Spiders record now stands at 9-3.

The Wonders (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, South Iredell was nudged by Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC), 53-32, in a non-league contest.
