The Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC) basketball nudged the visiting Carmel Christian Cougars (Matthews, NC), 49-43 in Wednesday's non-league contest.
The Pride now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Langtree Charter for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. Pine Lake Prep will battle a Lions team coming off a 58-46 non-league loss to Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC). The Lions record now stands at 4-7.
The Cougars (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Davidson Day (Davidson, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
