Fleming Island Golden Eagles (Orange Park, FL) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Oakleaf Knights (Orange Park, FL), 4-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles face the Ponte Vedra Sharks (Ponte Vedra, FL) in a 6A D3 challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Fleming Island will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record.
The Knights now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wolfson for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. Oakleaf will meet a Wolfpack squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Sandalwood (Jacksonville, FL). The Wolfpack record now stands at 6-4.
