In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Southern Lab Kittens basketball team scored a big 67-44 win over the Baker Buffaloes.
The Kittens (18-4) will now prepare for their contest against Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA). The Storm come into the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Delta Charter was trounced by Ferriday (Ferriday, LA), 83-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Buffaloes battle the Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA) in a 2A District 8 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Baker will attempt to better on its 5-14 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 8-10 record after their 45-35 non-league win over Northside Christian (Crowley, LA).
