In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms basketball team scored a big 63-16 win over the Medford Tigers.
The Awesome Blossoms (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. Clair (St. Clair, MN). The Cyclones come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, St. Clair was trounced by Sibley East (Arlington, MN), 65-47, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Rochester Math and Science Academy Cobras (Rochester, MN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 13. Medford will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Cobras go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 68-58 non-league loss to Higher Ground Academy (St. Paul, MN).
