The Lake Charles College Prep Trailblazers (Lake Charles, LA) basketball edged the host Carencro Bears (Lafayette, LA), 56-52 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Trailblazers now possess a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Alexandria for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. Lake Charles College Prep will play a Trojans team coming off a 48-38 non-league loss to St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 17-5.
With the loss, Carencro falls to 8-15 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Monday, January 13. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 18-7.
