Central Falls Warriors (Central Falls, RI) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI), 62-55 in a league match.
With the victory, Central Falls advances its record to 2-6 on the year. The Warriors host Blackstone Valley Prep (Cumberland, RI) to meet the PRIDE in a Division III match on Monday, January 13. The PRIDE enter the match with a record of 0-7. Blackstone Valley Prep lost 56-27 in their recent league match against Prout (Wakefield, RI)
The Blue Wave now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paul Cuffee for a Division III match on Monday, January 13. Hope will meet a squad coming off a 56-55 league loss to Scituate (North Scituate, RI). The record now stands at 1-4.
