The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cody-Kilgore Cowboys/Cowgirls (Cody, NE) and the visiting Creek Valley Storm (Chappell, NE), observed Cody-Kilgore's basketball team knock off Creek Valley by a score of 61-41.
The Cowboys/Cowgirls (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Banner County (Harrisburg, NE). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Banner County was knocked off by Hay Springs (Hay Springs, NE), 75-28, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Storm encounter the Sioux County Warriors (Harrison, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Creek Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 51-40 non-league win over Edgemont (Edgemont, SD).
