In Friday's non-league contest, the host Colman-Egan C-E Hawks basketball team scored a big 79-34 triumph over the Oldham-Ramona/Rutland Rutland.

The C-E Hawks (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD). The Huskies go into the B Region 3 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Bridgewater/Emery was trounced by Freeman (Freeman, SD), 66-62, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rutland confront the James Valley Christian Vikings (Huron, SD) in a B Region 2 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Oldham-Ramona/Rutland will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 87-78 league loss to Deubrook (White, SD).
