In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Ville Platte Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 55-49 win over the David Thibodaux Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Washington-Marion (Lake Charles, LA). The Charging Indians come into the non-league contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Washington-Marion edged Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA), 46-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. David Thibodaux will attempt to better on its 16-3 season record.
