The Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Fairmont Cardinals (Fairmont, MN), 78-40 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bluejays now possess a 14-0 record. They play next when they host Glencoe-Silver Lake for a AA Section 2 bout on Sunday, January 12. Waseca will play a Panthers team coming off a 85-59 league win over Central (Norwood-Young America, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Fairmont falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Windom (Windom, MN) to play the Eagles in a AA Section 3 bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Windom lost 101-69 in their recent league bout against Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN)
