Illinois High School Basketball - Lutheran fells Genoa-Kingston

The Lutheran Crusaders basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Genoa-Kingston Cogs to 56 in the Crusaders league triumph on Friday.
The Crusaders now have a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to River Ridge for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Lutheran will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 69-58 league loss to East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Genoa-Kingston falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Cogs travel to Harvest Christian Academy (Elgin, IL) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. The Lions go into the game with a record of 7-13.
