In Friday's league contest, the host Holdingford Huskers basketball team scored a good 63-53 triumph over the Melrose Dutchmen.
The Huskers (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kimball (Kimball, MN). The Cubs go into the AA Section 6 contest with a 5-2 record.
In their next game, the Dutchmen battle the Osakis Silverstreaks (Osakis, MN) in a AA Section 6 contest, on Thursday, January 16. Melrose will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Silverstreaks go into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 61-57 non-league win over Browerville (Browerville, MN).
