The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) and the visiting Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls (Albuquerque, NM), observed Hot Springs's basketball team overcome Oak Grove Classical Academy by a score of 58-38.
The Tigers (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM). The Braves come into the non-league challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Santa Fe Indian defeated Tularosa (Tularosa, NM), 71-45, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Owls battle the McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 13. Oak Grove Classical Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 58-55 non-league win over Pecos (Pecos, NM).
