The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets (Front Royal, VA) and the visiting Immanuel Christian Warriors (Springfield, VA), observed Randolph-Macon Academy's basketball team overwhelm Immanuel Christian by a score of 67-45.
The Yellow Jackets (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wakefield School (The Plains, VA). The Fighting Owls come into the Greater Piedmont challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Wakefield School was routed by Langley (McLean, VA), 80-57, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, Immanuel Christian falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Warriors host Trinity at Meadow View (Falls Church, VA) to play the Tempest in a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. The Tempest go into the bout with a record of 2-5.
