In Friday's league contest, the visiting Sedro-Woolley Cubs basketball team scored a close 80-73 triumph over the Lakewood Cougars.
The Cubs (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ferndale (Ferndale, WA). The Golden Eagles go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Ferndale was tipped by Anacortes (Anacortes, WA), 57-46, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Bellingham Bayhawks (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest, on Monday, January 13. Lakewood will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Bayhawks go into the contest with a 7-5 record after their 76-46 league loss to Lynden (Lynden, WA).
