The Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD) basketball edged the visiting Lakota Tech Tatanka (Pine Ridge, SD), 57-55 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Cossacks now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Wolsey-Wessington for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. Sioux Valley will play a Warbirds team coming off a 87-57 league win over James Valley Christian (Huron, SD). The Warbirds record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Lakota Tech falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Tatanka travel to Flandreau (Flandreau, SD) to play the Fliers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. The Fliers go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Flandreau lost 56-28 in their recent non-league bout against Castlewood (Castlewood, SD)
