In Friday's league test, the Mormon Trail Saints (Garden Grove, IA) basketball squad got by the host Lamoni Demons (Lamoni, IA), by a score of 43-37.

Next, the Saints clash with the Moulton-Udell Eagles (Moulton, IA) in a Bluegrass test, on Monday, January 13. Mormon Trail will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 3-5 record after their 63-29 non-league loss to Novinger (Novinger, MO).

The Demons (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Twin Cedars (Bussey, IA). The Sabers come into the Bluegrass test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Twin Cedars was nipped by Moravia (Moravia, IA), 62-41, in a league test.
