The Taos Tigers nipped the host Lovington Wildcats basketball squad by a final score of 70-64 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 11. Taos will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Rockets enter the outing with a 5-7 record after their 70-32 non-league loss to Roswell (Roswell, NM).

The Wildcats (10-5) will now prepare for their outing against Belen (Belen, NM). The Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Belen was nipped by Artesia (Artesia, NM), 72-56, in a non-league outing.
