Westview Wolverines (San Diego, CA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Mission Vista (Oceanside, CA), 46-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Westview advances its record to 10-7 on the year. The Wolverines host Army-Navy (Carlsbad, CA) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 8-6. Army-Navy won 47-36 in their recent non-league match against Bishop's (La Jolla, CA)
The now own a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Escondido Charter for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. Mission Vista will face a Tigers squad coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Maranatha Christian (San Diego, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-11.
