In Friday's league test, the Moravia Mohawks (Moravia, IA) basketball squad trounced the host Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA), by a score of 62-41.

Next, the Mohawks clash with the Centerville Big Reds/Redettes (Centerville, IA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 11. Moravia will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Big Reds/Redettes come into the test with a 3-5 record after their 78-67 non-league loss to Montezuma (Montezuma, IA).

The Sabers (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Lamoni (Lamoni, IA). The Demons come into the Bluegrass test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Lamoni was routed by Mormon Trail (Garden Grove, IA), 43-37, in a league test.
