Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Morgan Huskies (Clinton, CT), 53-50 in a league match.
With the victory, Old Lyme advances its record to 5-2 on the year. The Wildcats host North Branford (North Branford, CT) to face the Thunderbirds in a Shoreline match on Monday, January 13. The Thunderbirds enter the match with a record of 5-2. North Branford won 44-42 in their recent league match against Portland (Portland, CT)
The Huskies now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westbrook for a Shoreline match on Wednesday, January 15.
