The NC GBB Academy National Eagles (Durham, NC) basketball edged the visiting Parris Prep Academy Panthers (Charlotte, NC), 82-80 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Winston Salem Christian for a CAASC Greater Piedmont bout on Tuesday, January 14.
With the loss, Parris Prep Academy falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Grace Academy (Matthews, NC) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Grace Academy won 101-49 in their recent non-league bout against Charlotte Lab School (Charlotte, NC)
