In Friday's league contest, the host Oak Harbor Wildcats basketball team scored a good 68-57 triumph over the Sehome Mariners.
The Wildcats (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Tigers go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Burlington-Edison was topped by Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA), 51-46, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mariners battle the Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest, on Wednesday, January 15. Sehome will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 11-0 record after their 76-46 league win over Bellingham (Bellingham, WA).
