Colorado High School Basketball - ThunderRidge nips Overland

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting ThunderRidge Grizzlies basketball team scored a close 67-60 triumph over the Overland Trailblazers.

With the victory, ThunderRidge advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Grizzlies host George Washington (Denver, CO) to meet the Patriots in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 11. The Patriots enter the battle with a record of 6-2. George Washington won 79-46 in their recent non-league battle against Highlands Ranch (Highlands Ranch, CO)

The Trailblazers now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Denver East for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. Overland will play a Angels team coming off a 69-58 non-league loss to Chaparral (Parker, CO). The Angels record now stands at 4-4.
