In Friday's league test, the Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL), by a score of 67-36.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 11. Plainfield North will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 3-12 record after their 64-53 non-league win over Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL).
The Cougars (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Yorkville (Yorkville, IL). The Foxes come into the SouthWest Prairie test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Yorkville was routed by Joliet West (Joliet, IL), 54-42, in a league test.
