The Rapid City Christian Comets basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Sturgis Brown Scoopers to 33 in the Comets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Comets now possess a 10-0 record. They play next when they travel to St. Thomas More for a A Region 8 game on Tuesday, January 14. Rapid City Christian will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 64-62 non-league loss to Campbell County (Gillette, WY). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Sturgis Brown falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Scoopers travel to Rapid City Central (Rapid City, SD) to play the Cobblers in a AA game on Friday, January 17. The Cobblers go into the game with a record of 2-5. Rapid City Central lost 65-52 in their recent league game against Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD)
