In Friday's non-league contest, the host Royall Panthers basketball team scored a big 82-42 triumph over the Riverdale Chieftains.

The Panthers (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Necedah (Necedah, WI). The Cardinals go into the Scenic Bluffs contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Necedah was trounced by Brookwood (Ontario, WI), 44-40, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Chieftains confront the Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Riverdale will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Redbirds go into the contest with a 9-2 record after their 76-61 non-league win over Delavan-Darien (Delavan, WI).
