In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting University Prep Charter Gator basketball team scored a big 68-33 triumph over the Rochester Academy Racers.

The Gator (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Aquinas Institute (Rochester, NY). The Little Irish go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Aquinas Institute was trounced by Niagara Falls (Niagara Falls, NY), 60-43, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Racers confront the Vertus Warriors (Rochester, NY) in a Section 5 Private Parochial contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Rochester Academy will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 73-52 non-league win over Greece Odyssey (Rochester, NY).
