In Friday's league contest, the visiting Shawnee Mission East Lancers basketball team scored a good 62-53 triumph over the Shawnee Mission North Bison.

The Lancers (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Olathe South (Olathe, KS). The Falcons go into the Sunflower contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Olathe South was topped by Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS), 78-62, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bison battle the Mill Valley Jaguars (Shawnee, KS) in a Sunflower contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Shawnee Mission North will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Jaguars go into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 75-62 non-league loss to Piper (Kansas City, KS).
