In Friday's non-league test, the Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA) basketball squad trounced the host Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals (New Orleans, LA), by a score of 55-32.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Fontainebleau Bulldogs (Mandeville, LA) in a 5A District 7 test, on Tuesday, January 14. Northshore will attempt to improve on its 16-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 10-12 record after their 52-41 non-league win over Loranger (Loranger, LA).

The Cardinals (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Livingston Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Wolves come into the 3A District 10 test with a 1-11 record. In their last test, Livingston Collegiate Academy was routed by McDonogh 35 (New Orleans, LA), 56-30, in a non-league test.
