In Friday's non-league contest, the host Mackinaw City Comets basketball team scored a big 60-18 win over the Alba Wildcats.
The Comets (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Maplewood Baptist Academy (Kinross, MI). The Black Bears come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Maplewood Baptist Academy was trounced by Newberry (Newberry, MI), 56-12, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the North Michigan Christian Academy Comets (Burt Lake, MI) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. Alba will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.
