Spectators at Friday's non-league bout between the Randolph Blue Devils (Randolph, MA) and the host Avon Panthers (Avon, MA), saw Randolph's basketball team crush Avon by a tally of 60-11.
The Blue Devils now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Carver for a South Shore bout on Tuesday, January 14. Randolph will play a Crusaders team coming off a 56-31 league win over Mashpee (Mashpee, MA). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Avon falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Westport (Westport, MA) to play the Wildcats in a Mayflower 3 bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-1.
