In Friday's league contest, the visiting Lynden Christian Lyncs basketball team scored a big 56-16 triumph over the Blaine Borderites.
The Lyncs (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bainbridge (Bainbridge Island, WA). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Bainbridge smashed Kingston (Kingston, WA), 72-50, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Borderites battle the Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Blaine will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Seahawks go into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 47-39 league win over Meridian (Bellingham, WA).
