The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Catskill Cats (Catskill, NY) and the host Chatham Panthers (Chatham, NY), observed Catskill's basketball team overwhelm Chatham by a score of 51-23.

The Cats (10-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wallkill (Wallkill, NY). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Wallkill was routed by Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY), 60-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Hudson Bluehawks (Hudson, NY) in a Section 2 Patroon challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Chatham will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record.
