The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) and the host Concord Bears (Concord, CA), observed Northgate's basketball team overwhelm Concord by a score of 50-19.

The Broncos (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA). The Eagles come into the Diablo challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Berean Christian was routed by Acalanes (Lafayette, CA), 87-19, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears battle the College Park Falcons (Pleasant Hill, CA) in a Diablo challenge, on Monday, January 13. Concord will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 59-39 league loss to Benicia (Benicia, CA).
