Illinois High School Basketball - Hiawatha routed by Harvest Christian Academy

Harvest Christian Academy Lions (Elgin, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Hiawatha Hawks (Kirkland, IL), 78-26 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Harvest Christian Academy advances its record to 8-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 4-7. Aurora Christian lost 64-26 in their recent league match against St. Edward (Elgin, IL)

The Hawks now own a 1-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Beloit for a non-league match on Monday, January 13. Hiawatha will face a Sobos squad coming off a 44-36 non-league loss to Faith Christian (Dixon, IL). The Sobos record now stands at 7-10.
