United South Central Rebels (Wells, MN) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights (Kenyon, MN), 78-59 in a non-league match.

With the victory, United South Central advances its record to 8-6 on the year. The Rebels host Loyola (Mankato, MN) to face the Crusaders in a A Section 2 match on Monday, January 13. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 6-6. Loyola lost 72-54 in their recent non-league match against St. James (St. James, MN)

The Knights now own a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wabasha-Kellogg for a A Section 1 match on Saturday, January 11. Kenyon-Wanamingo will face a Falcons squad coming off a 54-28 league loss to Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 2-10.
