The Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds (Mosca, CO) basketball crushed the host Lake City Community 14ers (Lake City, CO), 67-16 in Friday's league bout.
The Thunderbirds now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Cotopaxi for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. Sangre de Cristo will play a Pirates team coming off a 54-22 non-league loss to Evangel Christian Academy (Colorado Springs, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 3-1.
