The Van Buren Black Knights basketball team scored 24 points and limited the host Leipsic Vikings to 22 in the Black Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Black Knights now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Elmwood for a Blanchard Valley game on Tuesday, January 14. Van Buren will play a Royals team coming off a 63-33 non-league loss to Delta (Delta, OH). The Royals record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Leipsic falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Vikings host Riverdale (Mt. Blanchard, OH) to play the Falcons in a Blanchard Valley game on Monday, January 13.
