St. Thomas Aquinas Saints (Dover, NH) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Newfound Regional Bears (Bristol, NH), 74-12 in a league match.
With the victory, St. Thomas Aquinas upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Saints travel to Raymond (Raymond, NH) to face the Rams in a Division III match on Monday, January 13. The Rams enter the match with a record of 2-5. Raymond lost 42-17 in their recent league match against Kearsarge (North Sutton, NH)
The Bears now sport a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berlin for a Division III match on Tuesday, January 14. Newfound Regional will face a Mountaineers squad coming off a 41-19 non-league win over Gorham (Gorham, NH). The Mountaineers record now stands at 7-1.
