Virginia High School Basketball - St. Stephen's & St. Agnes toppled by Oakcrest

Oakcrest Chargers (McLean, VA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints (Alexandria, VA), 48-34 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Oakcrest advances its record to 6-3 on the year. The Chargers travel to Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA) to face the Blue Storm in a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. The Blue Storm enter the match with a record of 7-3. Mercersburg Academy won 64-19 in their recent non-league match against Saint James (Hagerstown, MD)

The Saints now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host King's Christian Academy for a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. St. Stephen's & St. Agnes will face a Eagles squad coming off a 46-33 non-league loss to Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
