The Pine Raiders (Franklinton, LA) basketball crushed the host South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Buras, LA), 66-24 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 14-3 record. They play next when they host Northlake Christian for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. Pine will play a Wolverines team coming off a 67-25 non-league loss to Doyle (Livingston, LA). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, South Plaquemines falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Belle Chasse lost 59-35 in their recent league bout against Willow (New Orleans, LA)
