In Friday's league contest, the host Pinkerton Astros basketball team scored a big 94-27 win over the Winnacunnet Warriors.
The Astros (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Guertin (Nashua, NH). The Cardinals come into the Division I contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Bishop Guertin smashed Spaulding (Rochester, NH), 56-25, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Bedford Bulldogs (Bedford, NH) in a Division I contest, on Monday, January 13. Winnacunnet will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record.
