The Valley Center Hornets basketball team scored 43 points and limited the host South Titans to 28 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Haysville Campus for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail I game on Saturday, January 11. Valley Center will confront a Colts team coming off a 55-15 non-league win over West (Wichita, KS). The Colts record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, South falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Titans host Bishop Carroll (Wichita, KS) to confront the Golden Eagles in a Greater Wichita City game on Tuesday, January 14. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a record of 6-1. Bishop Carroll lost 48-43 in their recent non-league game against Maize South (Wichita, KS)
