The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA) and the host Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA), observed Foothill's basketball team knock off Granada by a score of 38-25.

The Falcons (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Pittsburg prevailed over Emerald (Dublin, CA), 57-32, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Matadors encounter the California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Granada will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record.
