Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - Chariho knocks off Coventry

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Chariho Chargers ice hockey team scored a nice 11-2 triumph over the Coventry Oakers.
The Chargers (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Portsmouth ran past South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 7-1, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Oakers battle the Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) in a Division 2 contest, on Friday, January 17. Coventry will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Chieftains come into the contest with a 9-3 record after their 4-2 non-league win over North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI).
