In Friday's non-league test, the Portsmouth Abbey Ravens (Portsmouth, RI) ice hockey team the host Cushing Academy Penguins (Ashburnham, MA), by a margin of 6-3.

The Ravens now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berwick Academy for a bout on Saturday, January 11. Portsmouth Abbey will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Buckingham Browne & Nichols (Cambridge, MA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-7.

With the defeat, Cushing Academy moves to 8-4 on the season. The Penguins travel to Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT) to play the Crimson Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 15. The Crimson Knights go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Salisbury School won 5-2 in their recent non-league bout against Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA)
